I have taught in public education for 33 years. I have taught all subjects, but my main subjects have been ELAR, Math and History. I retired in 2020. I taught virtually this past year, but have opted to return to the brick and mortar classroom this fall. I am looking for ways to motivate my students, to help the writing process, and ways to incorporate self learning and critical thinking. My school consists of a population that almost 80 % lives in poverty.
